The success of JumpStart was because of the help and generosity of hundreds of volunteers, churches, and sponsors including FoodLion, Payless ShoeSource, Twisted Sisters Cupcakes & Sugar Shack Cafe, Skanska to name a few, Jump Start 2017 was able to serve 600 students needing a little extra love and support to get the school year off to the right start. This year was a record number of families and students due to the storm damage from Hurricane Matthew. Many families are going through financial hardship after being displaced from their homes after Hurricane Matthew. It was heart warming to see the smiles on kids faces to get to pick out their own school clothes and get a new fresh hair cut for school.
We thank everyone who donated their money and time to help us reach these families to show them God's love in a practical way.
